Après avoir célébré ses 31 ans, Pablo Alborán a partagé une vidéo dans laquelle il annonce son homosexualité le 17 juin sur son compte Instagram.
Il l’a fait via son compte Instagram, dans une vidéo où il a fait part de sa sexualité. « Comme vous le savez, le monde nous laisse quelques nouvelles très gentilles ces derniers temps. Nous nous sentons tous étrangers, nous repensons la vie, le travail, ce qui nous rend heureux et ce qui ne l’est pas. Je crois que nous avons souvent oublié l’amour qui nous unit, qui nous rend plus forts et meilleurs, et aujourd’hui, depuis cet amour, je voulais vous raconter quelque chose de très personnel », commençait le chanteur malaisien.
Bien que peu connu dans en France, le chanteur hispanique cartonne dans son pays d’origine ainsi qu’en Amérique latine, où il est fréquemment au sommet des charts avec ses nombreux singles.
« J’ai quelque chose à vous dire » : « Je suis là pour vous dire que je suis homosexuel. Qu’il ne se passe rien. Que la vie continue. J’ai besoin d’être un peu plus heureux que je ne l’étais déjà. Beaucoup de gens le supposent, le savent ou ne s’en soucient pas. Car chez moi, dans ma famille, j’ai toujours ressenti la liberté de pouvoir aimer ceux que j’ai voulu, de m’engager dans ce que j’ai voulu. Je me suis senti pris et accompagné pour réaliser chacun de mes rêves. Dans mon travail, entre mes amis et dans ma société de disques, à Warner, je n’ai jamais eu l’impression d’être discriminé, odieux ou déçu. Mais malheureusement, il y a beaucoup de gens qui ne vivent pas comme ça », a dit le chanteur.
« J’ai toujours écrit des chansons qui parlent de toi, de moi, de ce qui se passe autour de toi, quel que soit le sexe, l’âge ou même la langue, parce que pour moi la musique est libre et je veux me sentir aussi libre que mes chansons. Je veux être cohérent, cohérent et aussi responsable que possible de moi-même. Je continuerai à concentrer ma vie publique sur mon travail, sur ma musique. J’essaierai de faire mon travail autant que je le sais, depuis mes entrailles. L’un des premiers a été Tony Aguilar : « Mon cher Pablo Alborán, j’admire votre sincérité inspirante comme j’admire votre art et votre musique que vous êtes libres. Tu n’as rien confessé aujourd’hui, car aimer n’est pas un péché. Continue à nous offrir cette sensibilité inégalée en composant et en faisant nos meilleures vies avec votre musique », écrivait-il.
Dans les heures suivant la mise en ligne de sa vidéo touchante et nécessaire, l’artiste natif de Malaga a reçu le soutien de nombreuses personnalités espagnoles et latines dans les commentaires en-dessous de son post initial.
